Jacob was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart defect that includes a large hole in the heart and narrowing of a valve that partially blocks blood flow to the lungs.
Today, Jacob is an active 12 year old who enjoys skateboarding. He designed this special line of skateboard decks to help raise funds for the American Heart Association and American Heart Heroes program for children with heart disease.

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a non-profit organization that fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke.
American Heart Heroes is an enrichment program that supports children battling heart disease in Florida and provides exciting opportunities for them to get together to enjoy experiences that last a lifetime.
